The change from creature to creator: The Root- cause of the Abnormalcies in Today’s World (Biblical insight)

‘’What men create will ultimately rule over them’’

The Holy Bible gave an account of the beginning of man and that how he was created after all other things or beings, living or non living, were created. It also said how man was given instruction to rule over all the creatures

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.’- Gen 1:28-29

Although it is generally preached and believe that God created man last because he is so special and that he is rule over all that He has created but there is another reason many have never reflected upon.

God created man last he has no reason to create anything but to rule and multiply. Everything created capable of fruitful and multiplying, God instructed them to do so even before man was created and when man was created, God instructed him same but added that he should rule over other creatures. God after every creation He did, he saw it was good and after his last creation, man, God again saw all that he created as good.

‘God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning ‘- Gen 1: 31.

Noteworthy is that God didn’t create darkness.-“Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.’’- Gen 1: 3-

16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. Gen 1: 16-17

Thus, man was just as good as water, land, star, birds, livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, the wild animals and so on except that  man had the mandate to rule over them. Thus in actual fact we are more or less equal.

Perhaps man misunderstood or mis-acted on the instruction ‘rule’ by going out of the boundaries- the reason of the mishaps we see in our world today.

God created man last so that he didn’t or shouldn’t create anything else except to multiply like every other creature and also the power to rule. Thus the original intention of God for man was not to be a creator because to him should be all the Glory even the glory of creation.

However sin crept in and made an almost eternal alteration on the existing laid down principles

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.’ Gen 3:19’

Although the original architectural design by God for man was not to be creator as has instructed everything that can multiply to do so automatically, man now had to plant, work, and sweat before he could eat- the reason and inception of man creation. More so this survival technique grew into manifolds of phenomena as man went from level to level, quest to quest through different channels just to survive.

Thus the equation had to be reversed by the coefficient of mercy through JESUS but the equation was not restored to its formal way but was a little modified. However man is yet to discover fully how to enjoy directly from the original equation and its attempt to know this  is often intractable and left with no choice but to increase his appetite for creations

Is it abnormal for creation or creature to rule over a creator? Perhaps since we now live in such world, many of us of accepted it as a normalcy.

God, as before sin, wanted man as a creature but by and after sin, man turn into creator as opposed to the original design plan of the Almighty. Now, everything man has created shall or will eventually be more curse over blessing except that which God giveth.

Man created Law and policies and these rule or should rule over man in any facet. A non-living or abstract thing ruling over a living and real thing. This is quite absurd and in fact a mysterious concept. The creator man turn into is the source of the mysteries we find all around us today.

Industrialization, economy traumas and misinterpretations, institution, accommodation, transportation, productions, construction are ruling or will eventually rule over man.

The authentic reason behind this is that we are supposed to be creatures not creators. We took on a position which wasn’t ours neither are we capacitated for  and have been performing there like we are; we have doom ahead of us especially those not receiving the wisdom from God and are ruling over most men. Man is a good as plant, sun and so on but man has taken on joy to exploit them however good intention driven he may be or choose to.

What you are and how you are is who are and one should recognise and accept that. This concept  of change which most people have ignored or are ignorant of have kept the world on a pivot of chaos and every attempt to reach a balance is costly in different unimaginable ways. God sees everything and he permits of them. Inequalities, violence, recession, disasters of various forms all have their roof in the swap of man from a creature to a creator.

In conclusion, the supremacy of God is absolute. Jesus is the beginning of the new creation and in Him were all things created as He has he mandate to do so.

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross’ – Col 1:15-20
